Exhibition Text:
The goal of this project was to create a flag that resembles Reagan and the student at Reagan. My flags are mainly about representing the diversity at Reagan and showing how IB internationally is trying to grow and prepare us for the future. The designs were inspired by Reagan, MPS and IB mission statements as well as symbols that represent unity in diversity. All objects in piece were already made.

Planning Sketches
These were my first 15 planning sketches. During the critique, I was told that numbers 4,8 and 15 had good ideas behind them and that I should make them into one flag. I tried to create flags around the themes of unity and diversity, Reagan, IB, and MPS and growth and vision in education. I feel like my designs are simple enough to recreate and have insight on how I view Reagan.
These are my final two designs that I came up with after receiving feedback on my 15 sketches. The blue in the background represents the color or Reagan and the design in the piece is a symbol of the unity in diversity message I want to get across. I also added the shooting star effect to the first one because the design looks a little bit like a star. The second one I added the globe in the middle to bring the idea of IB being international into the piece.
This is the final piece that I chose to make my final flag. In my critique of my final two flags, I was told to be more clean with my lines and circles so I used a ruler for the lines and measures everything out so everything was centered and the same size. I chose this piece because I fell that it does a good job of representing Reagan with the white and blue stripes. It also represents IB with the globe and unity in diversity with the symbol around the globe.
