Exhibition Text: Tears That Fuel Education is a digital manipulation piece that is inspired by "Crying Girl" by Roy Lichtenstein and "The Thinker" by Auguste Rodin. It is a piece that is meant to show someone getting upset or frustrated over their homework but their tears are supplying life to their work allowing them to not give up and continue their work. I used "Crying Girl" because of the crying in my piece and I used "The Thinker" as an inspiration for the position that I was in while taking the pictures for the piece. This piece was completed in an Photoshop app called GIMP.
